170 Undergraduate Scholarships at the Ministry of Education

The Ministry of Education and Sports has received an additional 170 Undergraduate Scholarships offer from the Government of Algeria for 2024/2025 Academic Year : Applications are invited from suitably qualified Ugandan Scholars to pursue studies at Undergraduate Level in Algerian Universities.

Eligibility

Applicants must have a minimum of 2 Principal passes at (D level) for ‘A’ Level in the relevant subject combinations.
Should be below 25 years of age at the time of application.
Should have obtained their A-level results in 2022 or 2023.
Should have a certified pass slips of A Level results by UNEB and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Should have a Passport or evidence of application
Should have Birth Certificate
Medical Certificate
Two passport photos
Those already admitted on Government sponsorship need not apply.

NOTE:

The medium of Instructions in all fields and specialties is conducted in French or English
Those candidates who were nominated for this scholarship in the academic year 2023/2024 need not re-apply as the Ministry already has their records.

Terms of Scholarship

All successful candidates will be required to buy a one-way air ticket to Algeria. The return air ticket will be provided.

Procedure of Application

or can be typed, indicating; Course, age, sex, home district, telephone contact, email address, with copies of academic documents attached and addressed to;

To reach not later than Tuesday 10th October 2024. The shortlist will be displayed on the Ministry of Education and Sports Website and on Notice Boards at Legacy Towers on Monday 15th October 2024.
