Account Developer

Full-time

As an Account Developer, you will play a crucial role in driving volume and revenue growth across relevant channels.

Reporting directly to the Manager Area Sales, you will focus on growing the customer base, managing accounts, and ensuring the successful execution of account-specific business plans.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Development: Partner with key accounts to develop and execute tailored business plans.
  • Revenue Growth: Manage volume and revenue growth across categories on behalf of the bottler system.
  • Program Management: Develop, implement, and manage account-specific programs, promotions, and packaging as needed.
  • Customer Relationships: Build strong personal relationships with customers through various interactions, such as charity sports days and customer conferences.
  • Merchandising: Execute the implementation of Picture of Success by channel.
  • Order Generation: Sell core packs in line with the Picture of Success.
  • Competitive Monitoring: Keep track of competitive activities in the market.
  • Quality Management: Ensure compliance with quality standards and manage trade replacements as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any field.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 2 years of previous sales experience or equivalent experience in the FMCG sector is ideal.

Competencies:

  • Strong product and industry knowledge.
  • Insights into competitor activities.
  • Strategic thinking with strong analytical skills.
  • Flexibility and resilience.
  • Ability to handle conflicts effectively.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Customer-focused with a strong service orientation.
  • Intermediate computer skills.
  • Proficiency in merchandising and revenue management.
