Position Overview:
The Apprenticeship Officer is responsible for implementing best program practices and supporting various stakeholders of the apprenticeship program to ensure the smooth running of both training and industry partner project development and delivery. This role involves supporting trainees during onboarding, training, and project delivery, while ensuring effective management of partner relations throughout the program.

Position Overview:
The Apprenticeship Officer is responsible for implementing best program practices and supporting various stakeholders of the apprenticeship program to ensure the smooth running of both training and industry partner project development and delivery. This role involves supporting trainees during onboarding, training, and project delivery, while ensuring effective management of partner relations throughout the program.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Curriculum Design and Review
- Contribute to the development, review, and enhancement of curriculum materials, course content, and instructional resources for all advanced training programs.
- Collaborate with program facilitators to incorporate innovative teaching methods, technologies, and pedagogical approaches into the apprenticeship training program.
2. Program Delivery and Management
- Coordinate program scheduling, resources, and support for facilitators and apprentices to ensure smooth program delivery.
- Manage resources required by facilitators, including digital platforms and tools.
- Oversee assessment, grading, and documentation for the Apprenticeship Program.
- Monitor program activities, track progress towards goals, and address any issues or challenges during implementation.
- Provide guidance and feedback to program staff, instructors, and facilitators.
3. Student Support and Engagement
- Implement approved student onboarding procedures, including program offers, admissions, orientation, and other requirements.
- Develop and implement strategies to support student success, retention, and satisfaction.
- Foster student engagement, collaboration, and participation in extracurricular activities, hackathons, and industry events.
4. Apprenticeship Project Management
- Support the analysis and qualification of industry partner projects to ensure they fit within the six-month scope and continuous learning objectives.
- Develop and maintain project plans, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and schedule constraints.
- Monitor project progress and provide status reports to stakeholders, including project health, risks, and issues.
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and user expectations.
- Support the provision of technical guidance and mentorship to apprentices and project teams.
5. Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting
- Collaborate with the Data Analytics team to implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks, tools, and processes to assess program effectiveness.
- Collect, analyze, and report data on program performance, student outcomes, and stakeholder feedback.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and updates for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Education background in Software Engineering or related disciplines.
- 3+ years of experience in technology or related industry roles.
- Strong technical background with an understanding of agile software development processes and methodologies.
- Experience in programming using various languages and frameworks.
- Familiarity with the Education and Technology Ecosystems.
- Knowledge and experience in project management within the technology industry.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation, and public speaking skills.
- Organized, analytical, and data-driven decision-maker.
- Creative problem-solver, critical thinker, and fast learner adaptable to a dynamic environment.
- Experience in mentoring and coaching teams during the project lifecycle.
- Experience in project management or people management.
Reporting Structure:
The Apprenticeship Officer will report to the Apprenticeship Lead and work closely with the Programs team.
