Bayport Financial Services (U) Ltd, a multinational, leading non-deposit taking financial institution, is looking to hire a dynamic, highly qualified, and skilled individual for the position of Area Manager – Gulu
The Area Manager will oversee the sales and operational activities, planning, direction, and management of the sales team within their designated area. Successful candidates will be responsible for implementing strategies to meet performance goals in relation to sales growth, market share, stakeholder relationship management, and people management in the branches under their direct control. This person will report to the Division Executive Sales & Operations..
Key Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business management or a related discipline.
- A postgraduate qualification in a related field will be an added advantage.
Experience & Knowledge:
- Minimum of five years’ experience in the financial services sector, three years of which must have been at regional management and/or department supervisory level in the sales function.
- Experience in the payroll lending sector is an advantage.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to cultivate a high-performance culture within the team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong relationship-building skills with stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive, driven, and energetic.
