Assistant Fluid Supervisor

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receive training and develop a strong understanding of Fluids, Cement, and Cuttings Waste treatment techniques.
• Learn to operate rig equipment efficiently.
• Assist the Fluids, Cement, and Waste Supervisor (FSV) with all daily operations.
• Provide support during critical operations at rig sites when necessary.
• Monitor all field operations closely.
• Help the FSV with logistics and inventory management on well pads.
• Analyze and report any equipment failures or non-conforming services.
• Evaluate the efficiency of solids control equipment and report findings.
• Assist the FSV in reviewing contractors’ cementing designs and closely supervise operations at the rig site.
• Be present during morning calls (Drilling report from rig to town).
• Work with the FSV to maximize the efficiency of all Fluids, Cement, and Waste activities.
• Gain knowledge and experience in all aspects of fluids, cement, and cuttings waste treatment operations.

Qualifications & Experience:

• MSc or BSc (or equivalent professional experience).
• Mud & Cement school training.
• Academic training in Drilling and Wells, plus Mud & Cementing, or a minimum of 1 year of international operational experience in fluids, cement, and cuttings waste treatment (preferably in land operations).
