B2C Intern
Internship
On behalf of our client we are looking for a competent, skilled, and experienced B2C -intern to work in Kampala.
Reports to: Retail Manager
Division: B2C
Location: Kampala
Job purpose:
- Create the conditions with Partners that will put the customers at the heart of everything that they do.
- Ensure the Oryx Oasis shops, and other retail Partners operate in conformity with OEUL standards.
- Ensure professional implementation of Oryx’s B2C Customer and Dealer Value propositions.
- Prospect and grow NFR partner footprint across the network.
- Monitor Operational Excellence Tools and submit report on the same to the Territory & NFR Manager on a daily basis.
- Work with the Territory and NFR Manager to design sales activation initiatives to grow station sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Non-Fuel B2C (NFR):
- Ensure a consistent customer value proposition is implemented in Oasis Shops to promote the Oryx Oasis Shop brand
- Operational Excellence: Maintain high operational standards – Move with the Territory & NFR Manager to ensure that our service stations ready to serve our customers
- Marketing: Implement and give ongoing support of Marketing and Network initiatives
- Grow station sales in line with the B2C strategy.
- Ensure proper management of company assets.
Territory Management:
- Ensuring stations share updated competitor price surveys and advising on pricing strategies
- Ensuring station share daily sales and stocks reports
- Any other work-related duties assigned by the BtC team.
NFR Management:
- With support, implement the category plans for the shop network
- Implement pricing and ranging/assortment strategy, as defined by NFR Oryx team
- Monitor market, propose and develop alternative responses regarding customer offer
- To identify potential inconsistencies and initiate appropriate action
- Sales Promotion Execution
- Help with creation of promotion and marketing mechanisms to support sales in the OASIS spaces

- Customer service & Logistics team
- Operations Team
- Finance Team Lubes and LP teams
External:
- Customers
- Station dealers and NFR Partners.
- Station staff
Experience & education required:
- Sales and Marketing Graduate.
- Must be prepared to work beyond normal working hours.
- Must exhibit high integrity and honesty in the performance of his/her function
- Must be able to communicate effectively with clients and transporters and internal stakeholders
