Business Development Manager

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Lead the development of strategies for identifying, tracking, and engaging potential SACCO members and designing proposals on how to convert and retain them.
2. Engaging members and stakeholders across the local and regional levels, and international levels
   through organizing trainings and other SACCO events.
3. Implement and enforce all approved policies, propose new policies and amendments to the Executive Committee.
4. Represent the SACCO in business transactions delegated with the respective approval of the relevant organ.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• The applicant must hold a Business-related bachelor’s degree.
• At least 4 years’ experience, 3 of which should be at Supervisor level in Sales and Relationship
  Management.
• Systematic and highly organized sales professional with a strong SME network in Uganda;
• Being a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit is paramount.
• Must be very comfortable working in the digital realm, using tools such as Google Drive (Docs, Slides, Sheets), and other remote working tools.
• High level of proficiency in building PowerPoint presentations
• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
• Preferably an Old Boy of Ntare School

Other Critical Requirements:
Networking, relationship building, negotiating, writing, and communication skills are strongly desired for
this role.
