Business Development Manager

 

Qualifications

 

• Proven work experience in business development or sales
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients
• Knowledge of legal services or the legal industry is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a social media strategy to enhance the firm’s online presence and engagement

• Update and maintain the firm’s website, social media handles, and online directories to ensure accuracy and consistency

• Research and identify bid opportunities, prepare, submit bids, and track bid results

• Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve firm goals

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, prospects, and industry partners

• Collaborate with advocates to develop marketing materials, proposals, and presentations

• Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and client needs to inform business development strategies

• Manage and track business development metrics, including pipeline growth and conversion rates

• Coordinate events, seminars, and webinars to promote the firm’s services

Requirements:

• 3+ years of business development experience in a law firm or professional services environment

• Experience with website management and social media marketing

• Proven track record of driving revenue growth and developing successful business development strategies

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing

• Knowledge of the legal industry and current market trends
