Q-Sourcing is hiring a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) who will be a key member of the executive team, providing strategic financial leadership and ensuring the financial health of the business. The successful candidate must have a proven track record of managing financial operations, driving growth, and enabling sound decision-making within a fast-paced environment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Financial Leadership:
• Develop and implement financial strategies to support Lycamobile Uganda’s growth objectives.
• Provide expert financial advice to the CEO and Board of Directors, aligning financial planning with business goals.
Financial Management
• Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and cash flow management.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with local and international accounting standards.
Compliance and Risk Management:
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, tax obligations, and corporate governance standards.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring the company operates within its risk appetite.
Leadership and Team Management:
• Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure alignment on financial objectives and efficient resource utilization.
Stakeholder Engagement:
• Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, banks, investors, and regulatory bodies.
• Represent Lycamobile Uganda in financial discussions with local and international partners.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Must be a qualified accountant (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent).
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a CFO, preferably in the telecommunications, technology, or FMCG sectors.
• Strong knowledge of financial management systems, accounting principles, and corporate governance.
• Demonstrated experience in P&L management, financial planning, and performance monitoring.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
