Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

A successful CFO should be well-versed in all areas of financial management, from accounting to investment and banking operations. Leadership is key, as the CFO will command all finance-related departments of the organization. The goal is to protect the company’s revenues and profits, ensuring full financial control and sustainable growth.

CFO Responsibilities:

• Drive the company’s financial planning
• Perform risk management by analyzing the organization’s liabilities and investments
• Decide on investment strategies, considering cash flow and liquidity risks

General Responsibilities:

• Oversee the company’s financial planning
• Analyze liabilities and investments to perform risk management
• Develop investment strategies based on cash flow and liquidity considerations
• Control and evaluate the organization’s fundraising plans and capital structure
• Ensure appropriate cash flow for operations
• Supervise finance personnel (controllers, treasurers, etc.)
• Manage vendor relationships
• Prepare reliable, current, and forecasting reports
• Set up and oversee the company’s finance IT system
• Ensure compliance with legal regulations and company policies
• Lead a team of financial controllers and financial analysts

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a CFO, finance officer, or a similar role
• In-depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices
• Excellent skills in data analysis and forecasting methods
• Proficiency in MS Office and financial management software (e.g. SAP)
• Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Analytical mindset and comfort with numbers
• CPA qualification is a strong advantage
• BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field; MSc/MBA is a plus
