Chief Operations Officer

Lotus Brands is seeking a reliable and experienced Chief Operations Officer to join our team in Kololo.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the overall business objectives of Lotus Brand.

Possess strong skills in proposal writing.

Provide strong leadership and direction to operational teams.

Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance and identify areas for improvement.

Optimize operational processes and workflows to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall productivity.
-
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and internal policies.
-
Collaborate closely with other members of the executive team to ensure seamless integration of operational activities with other functional areas.

Manage budgets and resources effectively to maximize operational efficiency and profitability.
-
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork and high performance.

Identify and implement new technologies and systems to enhance operational capabilities.
-
Lead and manage change initiatives effectively.
Qualifications and Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is an added advantage.

A minimum of three (3) years of proven working experience in the media industry, specifically within organizations such as newspapers, journals, or similar publishing entities.

Demonstrated success in leading and managing operational teams.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

Proven ability to develop and implement strategic operational plans.

Strong financial acumen and budget management experience.

Proficiency in relevant software and technologies.

A proactive and results-oriented approach with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
