CHINESE GOVERNMENT SCHOLARSHIPS FOR ACADEMIC YEAR 2025/2026
Applications are invited from suitably qualified Ugandan Scholars to pursue studies at Undergraduate and Post graduate levels in Chinese Universities for 2025/2026 Academic Year.

PhD Level

Eligibility
- Applicants for the Bsc in Pharmacy must have done Physics, Chemistry and Biology and scored a minimum of ‘C’ in essential subjects. They must have completed A Level either in 2023 or 2022
- Applicants for the Masters level must have a minimum CGPA of 3.60 in the relevant field and at least two years working experience.
Applicants must not be more than 25 years for Undergraduate, 35 years for Masters and 40 years for PhD at the time of application.
Those admitted on Government Scholarships/ Sponsorship and those who have applied for the Hungaricum Stipendium Scholarship should not apply.
Applicants with Foreign Qualifications should have their academic papers equated by UNEB for undergraduate applicants or NCHE for postgraduate applicants.
Applicants should have a valid passport or evidence that they have applied for it.
Procedure of Application:
Download the application form from the website of the Ministry of Education and Sports: www.education.go.ug OR Submit a typed application letter with a recent passport photograph attached.
The application should indicate age, sex, course, home district, telephone contact, email address. Attach photocopies of academic certificates and transcripts. This should be addressed to:
