Serving over 36,000 clients in 17 districts of the Mid-Western and Central region(s) of Uganda, ENCOT Microfinance Limited (ENCOT) is a social impact, fast growing and innovative MFI operating a network of 10 branches of Hoima, Masindi, Kigumba, Kagadi, Nakasongola, Kawempe, Luweero, Bweyale, Katikara and Karuguuza. ENCOT’s mission is to provide microfinance services to low-income smallholder farmer communities, most especially women, to allow them curve their own paths out of poverty through creation of own jobs.
ENCOT is seeking to recruit dynamic, self-motivated and result oriented professionals to urgently fill the following positions: Applicants MUST be ready to be deployed across our Branch Network

1. CREDIT SUPERVISORS – GROUP LENDING (4)
To grow and manage performance of the group Loans Portfolio to achieve company objectives, provide leadership and supervision to Credit Officers and ensure delivery of services to clients in line with ENCOT policies and procedures.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Plan and implement strategies for business growth in the branch.
• Maintain a quality portfolio for the branch as per set targets.
• Ensure effective implementation of the operations policies and procedures through the lending process.
• Supervise and mentor Credit Officers.
• Customer Service.
• Reporting.
• Any other duties that can be competently and professionally performed.
Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Education, Business, Finance & Accounting, Banking, Administration or any other related field with at least two (2) years’ experience in a credit environment.
• A Diploma in the above field with experience of at least 2 years’ in group Loans may also be considered.
Core Capabilities:
• High level of honesty, integrity and accountability.
• Good people management skills; leadership and motivational skills.
• Strong business acumen and ability to achieve results with minimum supervision.
• Ability to communicate effectively, work in teams and build collaborative relationships.
• Ability to ride a motorcycle is a MUST, abiding by all traffic regulations (valid riding permit is a must).
