Data Assistant
Full-time
The Data Assistant collect, manage, and process clinic data, ensure accurate data entry, reporting and contribute to maintaining data quality and confidentiality in line with clinic requirements and M&E guidelines.
Overall Responsibilities
- Timely collection of data at COE and different wards at Mulago NRH and entry in EMR system
- Support compilation and submission of periodic reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly) from source registers and electronic data bases at the clinic.
- Conduct regular data cleaning and validation to identify and rectify inconsistencies, missing data, and errors, ensuring that the data is reliable and can be used for decision-making.
- Support records management through filing, retrieval and archival of patient records at Baylor COE clinic
- Build capacity of staff in data collection and capture in EMR systems though training and mentorship.
- Maintain strict adherence to data privacy policies, ensuring the security of sensitive patient data and compliance with national and international standards.
- Any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Required Qualification, Experience and Competencies:
- Diploma in Records Management, Computer Science, IT or another related field.
- Work experience of at least 1 year experience in managing HIV data.
- 1 Years Relevant Experience
