Direct Sales Agent

AMBA Finance Uganda Limited is hiring a Direct Sales Agent, you will play a crucial role in driving our sales initiatives and enhancing customer satisfaction. You will be part of a dynamic team reporting to the Credit Manager, working in a supportive on-site environment in either Mpelerwe and/or Bunamwaya. We are looking for individuals who are detail-oriented, communicative, and customer-focused, with the ability to adapt to various situations while maintaining integrity and assertiveness.

Position Details
• Employment Type: Contract
• Location/Work Arrangement: On-site, Mpelerwe and/or Bunamwaya
• Reporting Structure: Reports to Credit Manager
• Start Date: As soon as possible

Key Responsibilities
• Plan, assemble, and stock product displays in retail stores, and provide recommendations to retailers.
• Answer customer inquiries regarding products, prices, availability, uses, and credit terms.
• Recommend products based on customer needs and interests.
• Consult with clients post-sales to resolve issues and provide ongoing support.
• Provide customers with product samples and catalogs.

Requirements
Essential Qualifications
• Education Requirements: Post-secondary Certificate or Diploma in any business course or related fields.
• Required Experience: No prior experience required.
• Mandatory Skills: Active Listening, Speaking, Persuasion, Negotiation, Active Learning.
• Required Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in Office Suite software.
• Required Certifications/Licenses: None required.
• Language Requirements: None specified.

Preferred Qualifications
• Desired Additional Skills: Social Perceptiveness, Time Management.
• Beneficial Experience: Experience in sales or customer service roles.
• Preferred Certifications: None specified.
• Additional Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with sales reporting tools.
