Facilities Assistant

Full-time

A Facilities Assistant is critical in maintaining an efficient and safe working environment. His/her responsibilities range from coordinating maintenance tasks to managing office space and supervising cleaning schedules.

Key Responsibilities
Coordinate maintenance work
• He will supervise and coordinate maintenance work to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the premises. This includes overseeing repairs, and managing preventative maintenance tasks.

• liaising with external contractors and maintaining a solid rapport with staff members
Manage inventory
• The Facilities assistant will play a key role in tracking and managing inventory of supplies, equipment, and assets. This involves regularly checking inventory levels and ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
Oversee security
• Working closely with the services and security team, the facilities assistant will help to ensure a safe and secure work environment. This includes assisting with safety protocols, key holder management, and monitoring access to the premise.

Academic Qualifications
• Uganda Advanced certificate (UACE)
• Certificate in store keeping
