PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems within a manufacturing facility.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
RESPONSIBILITIES UNIQUE TO THE ROLE
Responsibility		% Contribution to job’s performance
	Maintenance and repair. Conducting regular maintenance tasks on electrical systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.	70%
	Installation: Installing, wiring, and configuring electrical systems, equipment, and machinery within the factory.	10%
	Safety Compliance: Ensuring that all electrical systems and equipment meet safety standards and regulations.	10%
	To maintain accurate records of electrical maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and safety checks.	5%
	To support in training and guiding other factory personnel on electrical safety, operation, and maintenance procedures.	2%
	Any other roles added from time to time concerning departmental objectives	3%

PEOPLE MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES

REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications	Diploma in electrical engineering
Qualifications	Experience in industrial electrical installations is an added advantage
Experience	3 years’ experience in a similar role
Experience	Proficiency in computer skills
Business Understanding / Knowledge	Understanding of key concepts in quality management.
Languages	Proficiency in spoken and written English

COMMUNICATION REQUIREMENTS (MOST RELEVANT FOR THE JOB)
	Internal Stakeholders	Operations, Customer service, IT & Marketing.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS

Regular travel between Head office, factory, and field.
