Field Interviewers (45)

The Bureau in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and UN Women intend to conduct the Uganda Malaria Indicator Survey (UMIS) and National Governance, Peace and Security Survey (NGPSS) is seeking to recruit highly competent, motivated, results oriented, dynamic, Field Interviewers (45)  of good character and high integrity to undertake effective NGPSS Data collection as assigned by the supervisor.

Duty Station:  Kampala, Uganda

Reports to: Field Supervisor

Job Reference: UBOS/DPSS/ NGPSS – FI /09/24

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Participate in all training sessions.
  • Locate the assigned Households in the work allocation.
  • Collect information in all the assigned areas.
  • Ensure that all the Field materials/equipment are properly handled, used, and returned to the supervisor after the enumeration exercise.
  • Document any challenges and report immediately
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE)
  • Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) with at least a Credit in Mathematics and English
  • Certificate in Computer applications is an added advantage.

Experience:

  • 1 years’ experience of continuous data collection.

Skills and other attributes

  • Good computer knowledge.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
  • Must be available exclusively for the NGPSS activity.
