Field Interviewers (69)
Contract
The Field Interviewers (69) will undertake effective UMIS Data collection as assigned by the supervisor.
JOB REFERENCE:
UBOS/DPSS/UMIS – FI/09/24
REPORTS TO:
Field Supervisor
EMPLOYMENT TERMS:
Temporary (Two Months)
Key Result Areas:
- Participate in all training sessions
- Locate the assigned Households in the work allocation
- Collect information in all the assigned areas
- Ensure that all the Field materials/equipment are properly handled, used, and returned to the supervisor after the enumeration exercise
- Document any challenges and report immediately
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE)
- Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) with at least a Credit in Maths and English
- Certificate in Computer Applications is an added advantage
- Female Candidates are highly recommended to apply
- Must have written and oral fluency in at least one of these local languages:
Ateso, Luganda, Lugbara, Luo, Ngakarimojong, Runyankole – Rukiga,
Runyoro – Rutoro, Lusoga, Lumasaaba, Rukonjo
Experience:
1 year’s experience of continuous Data collection.
Skills and Other Attributes:
- Good computer knowledge
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Must be available exclusively for the UMIS activity.
