Field Sales Executive

We at Baggins are recruiting a team of Field Sales Executives in Uganda that will work in major cities across the country for our new product called GAEAT. The cities include: Kampala, Jinja, Fort Portal, Mbale, Mbarara, Hoima, Gulu, Lira, Arua.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prospecting and Lead Generation:
- Identify and target potential restaurants for partnership within your designated territory.
- Generate leads through various channels, including field visits, networking, and referrals.
2. Cold Calling and Direct Sales:
- Conduct cold calls and in-person visits to introduce GAEAT to restaurant owners and managers.
- Present the features and benefits of the GAEAT app, highlighting how it can enhance their business.
3. Onboarding and Relationship Building:
- Guide restaurant partners through the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition onto the GAEAT platform.
- Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with restaurant partners to foster trust and loyalty.
4. Training and Support:
- Provide training and support to restaurant partners on how to use the GAEAT app effectively.
- Address any questions or concerns they may have promptly and efficiently.
5. Market Intelligence:
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new opportunities and strategies.
- Collect feedback from restaurant partners to improve GAEAT’s offerings and address any challenges.
6. Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline status, and client interactions using CRM tools e.g WhatsApp.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market insights, and progress towards targets. You will report to the Team Leader in your city.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in field sales, business development, or a related role, preferably within the food or technology industry.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to persuade and influence potential partners.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with a passion for achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Familiarity with CRM software e.g WhatsApp and sales tools is a plus.
- Must be a Ugandan by nationality and willingness to travel within the designated territory or city.
