Your role will be crucial to maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes. Each day brings a new challenge, whether it’s processing daily sales or safeguarding financial records, and your contribution will be vital in ensuring the integrity of our financial data.

 

Your primary responsibility will be invoicing daily sales on the Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) portal. You will handle the entry of daily sales into the URA web portal with precision and ensure that each transaction is correctly processed. Accuracy will be at the heart of what you do, as you will also verify that all data entered matches the daily sales figures, reinforcing our commitment to reliable and precise financial operations

In addition to data entry, you will play a key role in backing up our financial records and assisting with data reconciliation. Creating data backups as part of our contingency plan will be essential to maintaining the security and integrity of our financial information. You will also collaborate with the finance team in reviews and meetings, contributing ideas that will streamline processes and improve overall efficiency.

Beyond these core responsibilities, you will be open to taking on any additional tasks assigned by the Senior Tax Controller, showcasing your flexibility and eagerness to learn.

To thrive in this role, you should have a relevant qualification in accounting, mathematics, statistics, or a related field. Strong computer skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office will be essential to your success. You should have a keen eye for detail, be committed to accuracy, and possess great interpersonal skills. Your ability to work both independently and as part of a team will also be key to thriving in this dynamic environment.
