Financial Planning Analyst

As an Financial Planning Analyst, you will play a crucial role in shaping our financial strategy and forecasting.
You will perform detailed financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting to support business decisions. Collaborating with various departments, you will understand their financial needs and drive the financial planning process.
Your responsibilities will include; providing financial insights and projections to management and reliable data and analysis to be used in decision-making and planning. You will also prepare accurate monthly financial reports, assist in the preparation of presentations that provide thoughtful analysis, identify action items, and effectively frame decisions that need to be made.
Responsibilities:
- Provide FP&A finance support to operations teams, focusing on efficiency, optimization, growth planning, reporting, and metrics.
- Prepare budget and forecasting models, variance analyses, long-term planning, risk/opportunity assessments, and periodic/ad hoc reporting
- Identify and research variances to forecast, budget, and prior-year expenses, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Develop solutions to business challenges and collaborate directly with local finance and management teams on metrics, goals, and business reviews.
- Assist in automating the consolidated reporting and forecasting process
- Lead corporate projects and initiatives impacting the entire organization.
- Create presentations with insightful analysis, identifying required action items, and effectively framing decisions.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with business partners and cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics or related fields.
- Five (5) years’ experience as an Analyst or similar role.
- Strong experience in developing financial reports and metrics.
- Experience developing financial reports and metrics.
- Strong Excel, mathematical, statistical and analytical skills.
- Interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with various management levels.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing and growing environment
- Demonstrated ability to drive projects across an organization and influence others through effective communication.
- Experience using SQL is a plus
- Relevant certification (e.g. /ACCA/CPA/CFA/CMA) is a plus.
