Full Stack Software Developer will Design and Develop Software Platforms in line with Business Needs

Reports to: Design and Delivery Manager

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Designing, coding, testing & debugging of Web/Mobile Application & Integration platforms utilizing the industry standard automation and computer programming languages.
  • Manage and control SDLC process for all internal microservices and integration development projects.
  • Research and understand the technology market and emerging technologies, and proactively proposes technologies to address key business challenges, while improving the performance of core operations. Areas of particular focus may be machine learning, artificial intelligence, business intelligence analytics etc.
  • Responsible for developing technology that drives process innovation and automation (i.e. RPA, AI, machine learning)
  • Optimize data integration platform to provide optimal performance under increasing data volumes.
  • Conduct review of other microservices & integration developers’ development efforts to ensure consistent methodologies are followed and to make recommendations where necessary.
  • Optimizes data warehousing performance by dealing with any data conflicts that arise and keeping data definitions up to date.
  • Design of Screen mock-ups, wireframes and high fidelity prototypes for both Web and Mobile apps
  • Conduct testing, implementation and documentation of system changes/upgrades and new third-party systems in line with ICT policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain technical project documentation for internally developed solutions.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, Software Engineering or an IT related field
  • At least (1) year experience in a role related to design, development and delivery of enterprise software in a large financial institution or a reputable organization
