Graduate Management Trainee (Operations)

The role of a Graduate Management Trainee (Operations) is designed to provide recent graduates with an opportunity to gain practical experience and develop skills in various aspects of operations management within our organization. This role typically involves rotational assignments across different departments or functions within the operations division, allowing trainees to acquire a comprehensive understanding of the organization’s operational management systems, processes & standards.

Job Purpose:

 

Key Accountabilities:

 

  • Learn & adhere to clear understandings of the clients’ service requirements.
  • Build the knowledge & experience to ensure the use of standardized programs & tools.
  • To report and record any non-conformity with regards to customer merchandise
  • To work within operating areas as determined by management and the needs of the business.
  • When performing duties – adapt to following operating procedures and safe working practices
  • You may be required to undertake other duties as necessitated by business needs that may not be part of the responsibilities outlined in this role profile.
  • Engage and work closely with operations team on implementation of assigned projects e.g. standardization, environmental, continuous improvement, accelerated digitalization, data analytics.
  • Championed assigned practice- build depths via best practice research and application, team development & training, engagement on relevant continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain good and effective  communication across the business.
  • support the implementation of projects to improve Safety & Quality culture as well as respect for the environment in our operations.
  • Develops / Delivers high quality / innovative products, services, or solutions.
  • Ensure zero accidents and on time escalation.
  • Coordinates efforts and aligns resources to achieve objectives.
  • Champions continuous improvement and innovation
  • Customer service and clear understanding of the client’s requirement and expectations
  • Positive work ethic – good written and verbal  communication skills
  • Ability to understand instructions and to accurately carry out instructions.

Qualifications, Experience & Attributes:

 

  • First class or second-class upper Degree in Statistics, Engineering or Mathematics
  • Fresh Graduate 2023
