Total Energies EP Uganda is offering Graduate Trainee opportunities to fresh university graduates with a bachelor’s degree not exceeding two years after graduation with academic scores that reflect a potential minimum of an upper second degree.

Context and environment
Affiliate is now entering the project execution phase and is now preparing for First Oil in 2025. A number of stages still need to take place to ensure the delivery of the project on time and to the right standard. The different departments are responsible for the implementation of the affiliate Strategy and in particularly the execution of the Tilenga project.
The main role will be to provide additional support to the TEPU teams in the different departments in developing, implementing and coordinating the different activities/programs The Graduate trainee will also be required to work closely with various teams to gain on the job experience and acquire relevant employability skills that are crucial to the project and in the oil and gas sector. The Graduate trainee position is based in the Kampala office of TEPU. However, he or she may travel to the field where necessary during the execution of the work. The Graduate trainee reports to the Head of Department who may delegate his or her supervisory authority to another person but remains with overall accountability.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provide support in the Geoscience & Reservoir department to discover the world of Reservoir Development and support the Reservoir Engineering team for its daily activity.

Qualification & experience:
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Reservoir or Petroleum Engineering

• Maximum 2 years post-graduation experience in the petroleum industry
