Job Purpose:
The Grants and Partnership Officer will support the Grants Manager in managing donor funds, ensuring compliance, and supporting BRAC’s mission. This role involves coordinating financial and narrative reports, facilitating meetings, and managing partnerships and compliance.
Major Responsibilities:
- Coordination:
- Draft financial and narrative reports, ensuring timely submissions.
- Liaise with donors regarding reporting requirements and changes.
- Facilitate Kick Off, Grant Review, and Close Out meetings.
- Participate in Global Grant Management community calls and apply learnings.
- Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to BRAC Grant and Sub-Grant Management procedures.
- Communicate compliance elements and support adherence to donor requirements.
- Partnership Management:
- Engage in due-diligence processes and advise on partnership risks.
- Analyze and build partner capacity, and manage partner compliance.
- Analysis:
- Review proposal budgets and monitor grants for compliance.
- Maintain portfolio, pipeline, and reporting trackers.
- Act as a super user for the BRAC Grant Management System.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, International Development, or related field.
- Master’s Degree or equivalent preferred.
- Certification in Grant Management is advantageous.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in grant management, financial oversight, or related fields.
- Proven track record with donor funds and compliance.
- Experience in proposal development, financial and narrative reporting.
- Familiarity with humanitarian response is a plus.
Skills and Competencies:
- Knowledge of donor requirements, budgeting, compliance, and reporting.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and analytical ability.
- Proficiency in Google Suite, Word, Excel, and financial systems.
- Fluent in English, with effective communication skills.
