Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the Geoscience Manager macro-objectives on the Reservoir side by preparing complete Well SOR documentation, supporting the well operations to meet the wells objectives, maintaining history-matched reservoir simulation models, generating production profiles, providing robust reserves & resources evaluations of existing and future projects.
  • Guarantee the implementation of the Reservoir Management Plan and its Monitoring Plan and to communicate any deviation from the FDP base case evaluation.
  • Develop the Reservoir-related skills in the affiliate.
  • Recruit 4 staffs Manage-Coach, build and motivate the Reservoir team to deliver the reservoir activities of the affiliate and the Tilenga project.
  • Define the requirements for deploying an effective working environment.
  • Ensure that the key reservoir-related features defined in the Reservoir Management Plan (RMP) of Tilenga are integrated in the Well SORs and in the Basis of Design of the project. Actively follow-up the delivery of the 426 wells in the context of the drilling factory which requires quick data interpretation and reactivity.
  • Responsible for generating production profiles and reserves evaluation. In particular, prepare a technical dossier to support the first 1PSEC reserves booking of the Tilenga Project which has no analogues.
  • Guarantee a good preparation, implementation and execution of the 12-18 month Polymer Injection Pre-Development on JBR-4 pad.This encompasses the elaboration of a specific operating philosophy document and a strong collaboration within a dedicated multi-disciplinary team including personnel from vendors.
  • Validate the reservoir data analysis and their capture in T-MORE, maintain history-matched and robust reservoir simulation models for all fields by continuously integrating the latest available data and collaborating with the 2G leader and the specialists.
  • Interact with the partners and authorities when required about Reservoir matters.
  • Create interfaces for the follow-up of the Kingfisher Reservoir activities.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
  • Master Degree in Reservoir or Petroleum Engineering (or equivalent degree in technical disciplines)
  • At least 12 years of experience in Reservoir/Petroleum Engineering, with exposure to well operations, reservoir simulation, Reserves evaluation and Reservoir Management.
  • Strong coaching mindset, strong ability to work in a cross functional environment.
