Head of Social Services

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive social work program to address the unique needs of students.
• Lead a team of social workers, counselors, and support staff.
• Collaborate with the education department to integrate social work services.
• Provide counseling and emotional support to students.
• Engage with families, communities, local organizations, and government agencies.
• Collect and analyze data to measure the effectiveness of social work interventions.
• Recruit, train, and mentor social work staff.
• Advocate for the rights and well-being of vulnerable children and support fundraising efforts.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Social Sciences, or a related field (Master’s degree is an added advantage).
• At least 3 years of experience in social work with demonstrated leadership and program development skills.

Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of child development, trauma-informed care, and social work best practices.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and data analysis skills.
• Passion for working with vulnerable children.
