DFCU Bank is hiring a Head Personal Banking who will be responsible for driving the growth and profitability of the personal banking segment by leveraging data insights and analytics. The role focuses on designing customer-centric strategies, enhancing product offerings, and delivering exceptional service experiences while fostering data-driven decision-making to achieve business goals.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive personal banking strategy aligned with the bank’s overall retail banking objectives.
- Champion the use of data analytics to enhance customer acquisition, retention, and profitability.
- Identify and exploit growth opportunities in emerging and underserved markets.
- Utilize advanced analytics to understand customer behaviours, preferences, and trends.
- Implement predictive models to identify cross-selling, up-selling, and retention opportunities.
- Monitor portfolio performance using key metrics to ensure sustained growth and mitigate risks.
- Lead initiatives to enhance customer journeys using insights derived from data.
- Oversee the development of digital solutions and personalized products to meet customer needs.
- Collaborate with marketing and IT teams to deliver impactful campaigns driven by customer segmentation and analytics.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and management of personal banking products and services.
- Continuously analyze product performance and refine offerings to maximize profitability and market relevance.
- Ensure products are competitively positioned and compliant with regulatory standards.
- Build and lead a high-performing team equipped with data analytics and customer management skills.
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and customer-centricity.
- Provide mentorship and career development opportunities for team members.
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and bank policies within the personal banking portfolio.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a business discipline. An MBA, related master’s or professional banking qualification would be of added advantage
- Data Analytics Certification training
- Advanced Leadership Training
- 8 years experience in Banking in particular.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in data analytics tools and software (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Tableau).
- Proven experience in leveraging data insights for business growth.
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing customer-centric strategies.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinking with a focus on execution.
- Strong understanding of personal banking products, services, and regulatory requirements. Basic understanding of cross-functional structures and operations
- Strong People management and Leadership skills
