Job Summary:
CFID Uganda is seeking a dedicated and highly organized HR Assistant to join our dynamic Human Resources team. As an HR Assistant, you will provide essential support in the daily HR operations and contribute to various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and administrative tasks. Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- Educational Qualifications:
- A University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or any relevant field.
- Key Skills and Attributes:
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for effective documentation, reporting, and communication.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work well in a collaborative environment and maintain positive relationships with staff.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in administrative tasks.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
- Experience Requirements:
- Previous experience in HR, administration, or office management is preferred but not essential. Fresh graduates with strong academic credentials are encouraged to apply.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with the recruitment and onboarding process, including posting job advertisements, reviewing applications, scheduling interviews, and preparing new hire documentation.
- Maintain employee records and HR files, ensuring they are accurate and up to date.
- Provide administrative support in the preparation of HR-related documents, such as contracts, performance reviews, and training materials.
- Coordinate employee training sessions and workshops to enhance professional development.
- Assist in organizing company events, team-building activities, and employee welfare programs.
- Respond to general employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
- Support the HR department in managing performance appraisals, employee leave records, and other HR functions.
