Human Resource and Admin Executive

Innovex Uganda Limited is seeking an Human Resource and Admin Executive to manage and oversee all HR functions and administrative operations. This leadership role requires a strategic individual who can design, implement, and improve HR policies while ensuring compliance with organizational objectives. The HR and Admin Officer will drive the company’s human resource strategies, workforce development, and administrative efficiency, contributing to a healthy and productive work environment.

REPORTS TO: Chief Executive Officer, Operations Lead
Assignment description:
· Developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
· Bridging management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
· Managing the recruitment and selection process
- Coordinating office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies
- Staff performance oversight and dividing responsibilities to ensure accountability
- To ensure smooth operation by catering to the staff needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Leadership:
· Develop and execute HR strategies that align with Innovex’s organizational goals and expansion plans.
· Lead workforce planning and organizational development initiatives, ensuring the company is equipped to handle growth.
Recruitment & Talent Management:
· Oversee the entire recruitment lifecycle, from attracting top talent to onboarding and integrating new hires.
· Manage talent development programs, focusing on leadership development and succession planning.
Employee Relations & Compliance:
· Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on HR matters.
· Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and Innovex’s HR policies.
· Resolve complex employee relations issues, providing mediation and conflict resolution where necessary.
Performance Management & Development:
· Lead performance management processes, including setting KPIs, conducting evaluations, and managing employee development.
· Create strategies to enhance employee engagement and retention.
Administrative Oversight:
· Supervise office administration, including procurement, facility management, and vendor relations, ensuring smooth operations.
· Lead the improvement of administrative processes to increase operational efficiency.
Compensation & Benefits:
· Oversee payroll administration, employee benefits, and ensure competitive compensation packages to attract and retain talent.
· Develop and implement compensation strategies aligned with industry standards and company goals.
HR Analytics & Reporting:
· Utilize HR data and metrics to drive decision-making, track progress on HR initiatives, and report to the executive team.
· Any other duties as may be assigned.
Requirements:
a. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
b. Minimum 3 years of experience in HR or administrative roles.
c. Proven leadership experience and expertise in HR strategy and operations.
d. Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
e. Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and organizational skills.
