ICT OFFICER
Full-time
The ICT officer shall be responsible for end user support, assist on business applications, database and network support and champion for basic ICT security.
Responsibilities
– manage the business’ computing assets and infrastructure including installing, upgrading and maintaining hardware systems and networks in the workplace.
– Troubleshooting IT hardware and software problems to ensure users can work efficiently without interruption. This includes but is not limited to database management, networking, internet connectivity and virtual meetings.
– Install and configure the software including operating systems, offices, and business applications.
– monitor and maintain optimal performance of those software and applications to the expected standards
– Acknowledge IT help desk tickets and respond to and resolve the IT support issues assigned to you.
– Provide support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports and the roll out of new applications.
– in liaison with group ICT team, provide support on the shared infrastructure services like SDWAN, Endpoint security, Microsoft 365 etc
– Preventive maintenance exercise for the end user equipment.
– assist in support of all core insurance business systems and other line of business applications including general insurance business system (sims) and health insurance business system (EO2)
– Manage user profiles within all core business applications and facilitate the users, roles and right matrix review as outlined in IT policy.
– security patches download and management for the applications, software related to the core system and line of business applications.
– assist in network management and server support management with the guidance of the IT infrastructure manager.
Requirements
– Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, computer science or related.
– Certification in Microsoft servers, Networking ,Linux, Oracle ,Office 365
– Atleast 2 years experience in a similar role
