Internship at St. Joseph’s Hospital Maracha

Interns will gain hands-on experience and valuable insights into the healthcare field, contributing to patient care and hospital operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the delivery of patient care under the supervision of senior medical staff.
• Participate in clinical rounds and patient case discussions.
• Support hospital departments such as Emergency, Outpatient, and Inpatient units with various tasks.
• Help prepare and maintain patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Provide support in administrative duties as needed, including scheduling, filing, and data entry.
• Assist with community outreach programs and patient education initiatives.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Learn and adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Must have an Associate Degree in a relevant field such as Nursing, Medicine, Laboratory Technology, or any other healthcare-related discipline from a recognized institution.
• At least 12 months of experience in a healthcare setting (can include internships or volunteer work).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to ethical practices and patient confidentiality.
