Inventory Officer

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability.
• Oversee stores operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching materials.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping of inventory movements and stock usage.
• Conduct regular inventory audits to maintain accountability and minimize discrepancies.
• Collaborate with relevant departments to forecast stock requirements and prevent shortages or excess.
• Implement best practices for inventory management to optimize efficiency and reduce waste.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies in the handling and storage of materials.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in inventory management, preferably in the timber or industrial materials sector.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong understanding of timber treatment processes and industry-specific materials.
• Ability to analyze inventory data and provide actionable insights.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
