Inventory Officer

The Inventory Officer will oversee and manage inventory and store operations. The successful candidate will ensure optimal stock levels, efficient usage of resources, and strict accountability. This role is integral to maintaining smooth operations and supporting Rokewood’s timber treatment processes and industry materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability.
- Oversee stores operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching materials.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping of inventory movements and stock usage.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to maintain accountability and minimize discrepancies.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to forecast stock requirements and prevent shortages or excess.
- Implement best practices for inventory management to optimize efficiency and reduce waste.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies in the handling and storage of materials.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in inventory management, preferably in the timber or industrial materials sector.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of timber treatment processes and industry-specific materials.
- Ability to analyze inventory data and provide actionable insights.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
