IT Assistant

Exquisite Solution Limited is hiring an IT Assistant to join our client’s dynamic team in the logistics and manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth IT operations across multiple offices in Uganda. This position requires a proactive individual who can troubleshoot and resolve critical IT issues promptly.

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain CCTV systems, ensuring reliable security
and surveillance operations.
Perform regular repairs and maintenance of IT hardware to ensure optimal
performance and minimize downtime.
Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain printers, ensuring efficient and
uninterrupted printing services.
Maintain and troubleshoot network devices, ensuring a stable and secure
network infrastructure.
Install, configure, and integrate new network setups, ensuring seamless
connectivity and functionality across systems.
Configure and manage EPABX systems, ensuring reliable communication
and efficient operation of telephony services.

Qualifications and Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science,
or a related field.
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in IT support, systems administration,
or network management, preferably in a multinational company or a
reputable organization.
Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, hardware and software
troubleshooting, network security, and systems maintenance.
Proven ability to lead IT teams, manage projects effectively, and
collaborate across departments to ensure seamless IT operations.
Fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills to
interact with both technical and non-technical teams.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills for
managing daily IT operations and resolving technical challenges.
Willingness and ability to travel across various Ugandan offices to address
and resolve IT-related issues as needed.
