IT RISK OFFICER

Full-time

Reports to: Head of Risk

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

To build the department with the capabilities for identifying, monitoring, assessing and mitigating cyber security risks.

MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Risk assessment and analysis
Risk mitigation and strategy
development (Governance and compliance)
Reporting, communication and training
Incident response and continuous improvement

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s Degree: Typically, in a relevant field such
Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security or Business with a strong IT focus.
Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC).
IT knowledge (Cyber security is an added advantage)
Data analysis and critical thinking is an added advantage
Able to work in a team and problem solving
