IT RISK OFFICER

Reports to: Head of Risk
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
To build the department with the capabilities for identifying, monitoring, assessing and mitigating cyber security risks.
MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Risk assessment and analysis
- Risk mitigation and strategy
- development (Governance and compliance)
- Reporting, communication and training
- Incident response and continuous improvement
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree: Typically, in a relevant field such
Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security or Business with a strong IT focus. - Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC).
- IT knowledge (Cyber security is an added advantage)
- Data analysis and critical thinking is an added advantage
- Able to work in a team and problem solving
