Joint Medical Store (JMS) is a church-founded, private, not-for-profit organization whose mission is to “Provide value-adding health solutions to accredited health units and other stakeholders.” JMS is hiring qualified and experienced personnel for the following vacancies to join their dedicated team.

Job Vacancies:

1. Head of Operations – Gulu Branch

Main Purpose of the Job:

  • Provide branch oversight and promote the development and market presence of JMS products.
  • Implement strategies that promote smooth operations within the value chain by managing human resources, stock, and fleet.

2. Customer Relations Assistant – Gulu Branch

Directorate: Customer Services
Main Purpose of the Job:

  • Manage the processing of customers’ orders.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and queries relating to products and services in accordance with JMS policies and procedures.
  • Carry out roles of supervising pharmacist.

3. Procurement Officer – JMS Headquarters

Directorate: Business Development and Procurement
Main Purpose of the Job:

  • Procure goods/services on behalf of JMS and manage procurement processes in an effective, efficient, and transparent manner.
  • Provide the best overall value to JMS and maintain positive supplier relations.

4. Capacity Building Officer – JMS Headquarters

Directorate: Technical Services
Main Purpose of the Job:

  • Offer training of assured quality as a winning strategy in the health sector in Uganda.
  • Develop and implement capacity-building programs and manage grants solicitation processes.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of initiatives aimed at strengthening organizational capabilities.

5. Manager Sustainability and Corporate Affairs – JMS Headquarters

Directorate: General Management
Main Purpose of the Job:

  • Ensure the smooth operation of the Board of Directors and its committees.
  • Adhere to corporate governance principles.
  • Coordinate the development and monitoring of the JMS strategy.
  • Align corporate strategy with ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles.
