Key Account Manager

Snack Nation Uganda Ltd is looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Key Account Manager to join our team. This role Involves generating new sales leads, nurturing customer relationships, and boosting revenue for our snack products.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities
- Establish and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships
- Consistently meet and exceed monthly sales targets
- Conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement effective sales strategies
- Deliver exceptional customer service and support
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to potential clients
- Monitor and report on sales performance and market trends
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profit
- Provide feedback to management on market dynamics, customer needs, and product improvements
- Train and mentor junior sales staff as needed
- Ensure timely collection of payments from customers
- Attend industry events and networking functions to build brand awareness and generate leads
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of sales experience, preferably in the FMCG industry
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Strong results orientation and a drive to achieve targets
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Valid motorbike license with safe riding skills
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools
- A degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
