Learning and Knowledge Management officer

Food for the Hungry (FH/U) is hiring an experienced Learning and Knowledge Management officer who will enhance knowledge management across various projects at Food for the Hungry, improving implementation strategy, decision-making, and information flow. The role focuses on intentional learning from multiple sources, including project data, evaluation reports, contextual analysis, community feedback, research studies, and pilots, using these learnings to adapt programs effectively
Key Duties and Responsibilities: As Learning and Knowledge Management Officer (LKMO), your overall responsibilities will be (JDs Key Result Areas):

- Knowledge Access and Retrieval
- Knowledge Management Evaluation and Improvement
- Communication and knowledge management
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
Experience
- The Learning and Knowledge Management Officer should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a role with significant learning, knowledge management and/or data analysis, interpretation and reporting responsibilities in the humanitarian and development programs setting.
Education/Qualifications
- A bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Information and Communication Technology, Monitoring and Evaluation studies, Statistics, Social Sciences or related field. Post graduate diploma in M&E, Statistics, IT or in a related field.

- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with web-based systems such as Google Drive. Experience with ODK and/or PowerBI a plus

- Commitment to accountability and transparency with beneficiaries, showing dignity and respect, and demonstrating listening and understanding.
- Knowledge of statistical computer packages e.g. SPSS, EPI-INFO etc.
