Legal Officer

The Legal Officer will oversee and manage all legal aspects of the company’s operations, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. This involves ensuring the company’s adherence to legal requirements, safeguarding its interests through proficient management of all legal affairs, and mitigating legal risks to protect the company’s interests.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement legal strategies to protect the company’s interests and mitigate legal risks.
• Draft precise corporate legal documents.
• Analyze and articulate legal ramifications on business operations and services offered.
• Serve as the custodian of company contracts and legal documents, ensuring their currency and enforceability.
• Contribute valuable insights to contract management and deal formulation.
• Review corporate documents, resolutions, service agreements, and other pertinent materials.
• Facilitate communication with external parties on legal matters and maintain strong relationships with external lawyers.
• Prepare necessary documentation for statutory reports and recommend swift resolutions to legal issues to mitigate litigation risks.
• Assist in reviewing company policies, procedures, governance documents, and intellectual property protection strategies.
• Provide legal advice and support to management on a wide range of legal issues.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Manage legal disputes, including liaising with external counsel and representing the company in court or alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to keep abreast of legal developments and provide proactive advice to the business.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure legal compliance and best practices across the organization.
• Manage relationships with external legal advisors and service providers.
