Machine Specialist

Job Summary:
Nile Breweries is looking for a Machine Specialist to maintain, repair, and optimize the energy and fluid plant, ensuring plant availability and product quality while minimizing costs. The role also involves maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Comply with safety, health, and environmental policies, procedures, and legislation.
Maintain safety and housekeeping standards.
Plan, prepare, and execute maintenance and repair tasks.
Operate and manage workshop and utilities equipment.
Ensure plant availability and optimize resource usage.
Support the team in improving process quality and facilitate problem-solving.
Monitor trends and initiate corrective actions.
Perform running schedules and communicate effectively within teams.
Contribute to self and team development.

Qualifications:

Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical).
Ammonia CAT A & B Certification.
3-5 years of experience in a utilities brewery production environment.
1-3 years of technical mechanical/electrical and utilities experience in a leadership capacity in an FMCG environment.
Strong knowledge of utilities, including Steam Plant, Ammonia Refrigeration, CO2 Plant, Water Treatment, and Compressed Air systems.
