Manager FP&A

Full-time

Raising The Village (RTV) is hiring a Manager FP&A who will maintain and enhance analytical tools to drive financial performance and planning across the organization. Working closely with department leaders, both locally and globally, this role will be pivotal in financial forecasting, budgeting, liquidity management, and special projects such as ERP implementation.

The ideal candidate is forward-thinking, tech-savvy, and detail-oriented, with strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Provide insightful commentary on financial and non-financial performance data to support better decision-making.
  • Lead monthly performance reviews with executive teams to analyze key deliverables and financial metrics.
  • Oversee global forecasting and budgeting, working closely with the CFO and MD to assess risks and opportunities.
  • Develop and manage the annual consolidated budget, mid-term budgeting, and long-term financial projections.
  • Lead liquidity and cash flow forecasting, with a focus on restricted and unrestricted cash reserves.
  • Support the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) in identifying key financial sustainability metrics.
  • Perform ad hoc financial modeling and analysis for management decision-making.
  • Continuously streamline financial processes and budget cycles.

Special Projects & Grant Reporting

  • Generate financial dashboards using Sage Intacct, Power BI, or other analytics tools.
  • Identify and implement process improvement initiatives.
  • Assist Accounting with statutory and ad-hoc audits.
  • Provide financial support for grant reporting and funder applications.

People Development & Other Duties

  • Manage, develop, and mentor the FP&A team, fostering a culture of high engagement and career growth.
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure budgeting aligns with organizational objectives.
  • Participate in organizational activities, including weekly staff meetings.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance.
  • CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent designation (preferred).
  • 5+ years of financial planning experience (non-profit experience is an asset).

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of data privacy standards, integrity, and critical thinking.
  • Expertise in analytics software and Excel.
  • Excellent numerical, analytical, and data visualization skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Experience with SAGE Intacct or similar financial systems (preferred).
  • Knowledge of ERP implementation (an asset).
