Job Title: Manager Operations

Job Summary:

The Manager Operations will provide strategic leadership and guidance in overseeing the enforcement operations, coordinating activities, and ensuring the efficient functioning of the regional offices of LGRB. This position involves developing strategies, managing budgets, and supporting regional offices in their operational and capacity-building efforts.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategies to enforce regulations against illegal gambling activities in line with the Board’s strategic objectives.
  • Coordinate the implementation of departmental activities at the regional level in collaboration with other departments.
  • Oversee the preparation, consolidation, and reporting of regional work plans and budgets.
  • Provide support to regional offices, ensuring capacity-building initiatives, performance management, and motivational strategies for effective service delivery.
  • Coordinate the execution of enforcement activities across regional offices, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with the law.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

Qualifications:

  • An Honours Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Commerce, Public Administration, Information Technology, Law, Development Studies, Social Sciences, or Economics from a recognized university.
  • A Master’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Public Administration, Economics, or Management from a recognized university/institution.

Work Experience:

  • At least six (6) years of working experience, with three (3) years at the Senior Officer level or its equivalent.
