Marketing Communications Officer

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Marketing Communications Officer to join us. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of marketing tools, social media content and trends, coupled with an inquisitive nature and a responsive attitude.

DEPARTMENT: Marketing

REPORTING TO: Marketing & Communications Manager

Duties & Responsibilities

Implement, and manage our social media strategy across MOGO
Uganda platforms.
Create engaging and high-quality content tailored to different audiences and platforms, ensuring alignment with brand voice and messaging.
Stay up to date with the latest marketing, communications and social media trends, tools, applications, and best practices to enhance MOGO’s digital presence.
Monitor MOGO social media channels for customer feedback, inquiries, and comments; respond promptly to foster community engagement.

Required Job-Specific Competencies/Attributes:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Proven experience in managing social media channels for brands or organizations.
Strong videography and writing skills with the ability to create compelling content.
Familiarity with communications and social media analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Google Analytics).
Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
A creative and inquisitive mindset with a passion for staying ahead of industry trends.
