Mechanics Supervisor
Full-time
The Mechanics Supervisor will supervise, guide and train service station mechanics to achieve set sales and margin targets at the station as well as improve product knowledge.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- TotalEnergies HSSEQ policy implementation and compliance at all Quartz Auto Services.
- Manage the lubricant market segment at the station Quartz Auto Service by achieving set targets for volumes & margins.
- Coordinate mechanics activities to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Offer technical support to dealers, mechanics and customer attendants.
- Identify and implement strategies on Quartz Auto Service business growth.
- Formulate and carry out lubricants and relevant trainings for Quartz Auto Service mechanics.
- Lubricants Training of station staff on lubricants.
- Technical training of station customers-Taxis, mechanics and fleet customers.
- Optimize overhead expenses like Quartz Auto Service equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Maintain high standards of professionalism at the Quartz Auto Service.
- Offering support to service stations on Lubricants Issues, stocking, pricing and merchandising.
- Liaising with customer service to ensure prompt customer order processing and delivery of lubricants.
- Coordinate and participate in service clinics in partnership with business partners.
- Coordinate participation in trade fairs and exhibitions related to lubricants.
- Introduce service station customers to ANAC.
- Support other lubricants Channels on technical support to Mechanics.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of a Bachelors’ degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.
- Minimum of two(2) years’ hands on experience in a large busy automotive workshop (minimum 2 years).
