Children’s Surgical Hospital in Entebbe is hiring a dedicated and skilled Physiotherapy Technician to join our team. This role is essential in providing physiotherapy treatments, supporting patient mobility, and contributing to the overall well-being of patients at our facility.
Salary Scale: U5
Reports To: Senior Physiotherapy Technician
Qualifications

Must have a Diploma in Physiotherapy from a recognized Institution.
Other Requirements

Should have a patient-focused approach and pleasant personality.

Good communication, team building, interpersonal and analytical skills.
Duties and Responsibilities
-
Carry out physiotherapy treatment to patients.

Provide movement aides to disabled patients.
-
Ensure that equipment is functional and well maintained.

Ensure safety of patients and staff.

Educate patients and staff on how to avoid the occurrence of disabilities.

Participate in teaching and supervision of students.
-
Participate in primary health care activities.
-
Compile and submit periodic reports.
-
Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
