PLANNING EXECUTIVE

Reports to: Planning Officer
Department: Finance
JOB PURPOSE: To harmonise advertising processes and operations for improved efficiency and effectiveness within the advertising department.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure correct bookings are made daily from the advertising team.
- Confirm and proof read all incoming artworks before they are sent to pre-press.
- Co-ordinate with designers and sales team on artworks needed for client approvals.
- Provide a proper entry book to facilitate planning at designing level and ease of reference for deadlines.
- Provide assistance to the Planning Officer in regard to bookings made within each week.
- Ensure that all space orders are correctly signed with all policy requirements observed in terms of discounts allowed and correct authorized signatories completed before recording into the daily booking reports.
- Assist in sending daily booking reports to all managers in the department and credit control
- Co-ordinate creatives and visual selling tools for all Business Executives with design teams to ensure deadlines and timely delivery
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Academic: University Degree in Business Administration, Commercial Printing, Display or Design or any other related field from an accredited institution.
Experience: At least 2 years working experience in an FMCG Company
