Planning Officer

Contract

The Planning Officer plans and executes customer-aligned dispatches with invoicing & truck deployment

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan the dispatches in co-ordination with the OMCs representative and ensure
    timely dispatch of the trucks.
  • Invoicing the product to the customers and handing over of the required copies to
    the truck for onward dispatches.
  • Maintain cordial relation with the OMCs representatives and ensure excellent
    customer service is provided.
  • Understand and resolve the customer complaint in co-ordination with Terminal
    Operations team
  • Ensuring the inventory of various consumables and related accessories for smooth
    and efficient operation.
  • Co-ordinate with security staff and ensure no problem is faced by the incoming /
    outgoing trucks.
  • Adhere to the HSSE Management System and ensure strict implementation.
  • Liaise with the Control Room and the Gantry for any issues related to loading of
    the trucks
  • Monitor the availability of the trucks in the parking area and ensure no problem is
    being faced by the surrounding community.
  • Resolve the issues of the trucks’ fitting in co-ordination with the OMCs
    representatives.
  • Help and assist maintaining the fuel truck cycle time and ensure quickest dispatch
    of the truck.
  • Monitor and control the inbound / outbound traffic of the trucks and ensure no conjunction of trucks.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
  •  Minimum 2-3 years’ relevant experience in Oil Terminal / Depot.
  • Proficiency in computer applications. SAP experience will be added advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed
    decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate
    effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and terminal management software.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to fuel terminal operations is
    preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced
    environment.
