We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities
• Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
• Procurement Processes: Oversee the procurement cycle, from requisition to purchase order issuance, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, pricing, and supplier capabilities.
- Inventory Management: Collaborate with inventory management teams to ensure optimal stock levels and timely replenishment of supplies.
- Cost Analysis: Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and enhance overall efficiency.
- Contract Management: Assist in the development and management of contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments, including finance, operations, and logistics, to align procurement strategies with organizational goals.
- Reporting: Prepare and present procurement reports to management, highlighting key metrics and performance indicators.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management within a reputable company.
- Skills:
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
