Procurement Officer & Product Coordinator

Responsibilities:
- Source and Procure Products:
- Research and identify potential suppliers and vendors for the required products.
- Assess supplier capabilities, reliability, and product quality.
- Initiate and manage the procurement process, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Negotiate Pricing and Contracts:
- Conduct negotiations with suppliers to obtain favorable pricing, terms, and conditions.
- Draft and review contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Supplier Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Address any issues or concerns related to product quality, delivery delays, or other matters.
- Regularly evaluate supplier performance and provide feedback for improvement.
- Inventory Management and Stock Replenishment:
- Coordinate inventory levels based on sales forecasts and demand trends.
- Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment orders as needed to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Implement inventory control measures to minimize excess stock and reduce carrying costs.
- E-commerce Product Management:
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date product listings on the e-commerce platform.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to optimize product descriptions, images, and other content.
- Monitor product performance metrics and make data-driven decisions to improve sales and profitability.
- Market Research and Product Development:
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
- Identify new product opportunities based on market demand and consumer preferences.
- Work closely with product development teams to introduce new products or variations based on customer feedback and market analysis.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Previous experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related role preferred.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to communicate effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all aspects of work.
- Proficiency in using e-commerce platforms and product management tools.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility and adaptability to handle changing priorities and business needs.
